Set in a stunning location close to the sea, our five cottages are located next to what was once the Macdonald family’s hunting lodge and only a five minute walk away from the beautiful sandy Staffin Bay beach. There is also a slipway for launching boats and the area is an ideal base for hill walking. The Old Man of Storr, Quiraing mountains, Brothers Point, Rubha Hunish and Trotternish Ridge are all within easy access of the cottages.

Nestled beneath the Quiraing mountains our beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished cottages boast stunning views.

From ‘Tigh Shomairle’ there are panoramic views northwards across Staffin Bay to the Trotternish Ridge and eastwards to Staffin Island and beyond. Most weekends there is traditional music to be enjoyed at Duntulm Hotel in Totternish. If you are looking for a ceilidh watch the local press, there is always one somewhere on the island.

Our holiday homes offer an ideal gathering place for all the family as the five cottages sleep a total of 26 people. A wonderful retreat for time out together.

Magical Skye is an isle of romance, magnificent scenery, tranquil lochs, wild rugged coastline and wide open spaces. With a wealth of attractions you will be spoilt for choice in deciding what next to see or do. Skye also has its own distillery, brewery and microbrewery to tempt your taste buds. Here you will also discover a wealth of historic castles, ruins and brochs. For the more adventurous there is rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking/walking, kayaking and sea trips. Explore the beaches and hidden coves, or simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this unspoilt island. The islands of Uist, Lewis and Harris are within easy reach for day visits with ferries that leave from Uig (around 7 miles away).
