The Isle of Skye is the perfect holiday distination, there is so much to see and do and the experiences that await you are boundless.  Alongside is a list of links of some of the wonderful things you can do whilst you are on holiday on the island. Skye is the ultimate outdoor paradise with walks and hikes of any description and to suit anyone’s level of fitness. Skye is also a wonderful destination for wildlife so binoculars are a must if you would like to get a closer look. Both inland and the sea will provide you with a host of beautiful creatures to observe, sea eagle, red deer, otters, dolphins, whales, seals, gannats, golden eagle, puffin’s and pine marten’s. The stunning landscapes and animals are a constant source of inspiration for both photographers and aritsts to interpret in very distinctive seasons.

There are a multitude of good restaruants and cafe’s across the island, along with art galleries, museums and pottery shops. If you are looking for clean air, rugged landscapes, medieval castles, fishing villages, a wealth of history and outstanding scenery then Skye is the ideal place for your next holiday.

However, sometimes its just fun to get in the car and see where the road takes you.  

All our cottages are just a short walk to the beach, with splendid views from various points around Staffin Bay Holiday Homes. Our cottages all have an outdoor seated area where you can enjoy your meals in the fresh air or enjoy the long summer evenings.
